Trips
The Travel and Social Committee organizes a variety of outings to destinations and attractions both within and outside of the Lower Mainland. In planning the trips and outings, the committee takes into account the varied interests, needs, accessibility, diversity and financial resources of our members.
The Travel and Social Committee continues to network with different senior’s centers in organizing upcoming trips that we hope will further strengthen our partnerships and increase participation. A few senior’s centers that we have collaborated with include the South Granville Seniors Centre and Gordon Neighbourhood House.
Our travel outings often include visits to key tourist destinations, museums, gardens, local attractions, restaurants, parks, private facilities and other senior and recreation facilities.
