About 411 Seniors Centre
The 411 Seniors Centre is an easily accessible, multi-purpose social and recreational drop in facility for seniors.Centrally located in downtown Vancouver, the Centre offers a variety of programs, services and special projects for seniors. It also houses several Associate Members who directly or indirectly work with seniors.The Centre is directed by the 411 Seniors Centre Society, with a Board of Directors, a small staff and a number of volunteers.
Services
411 Seniors Centre strives to provide top-notch programs and services to seniors. We offer over 40 free and low cost social, educational, recreational and drop-in programs including:
- Low cost trips and tours
- Low cost nutritional meals
- Free blood pressure and podiatrist clinics
- Annual Dental Screening Clinic.
- Low cost clothing, gift and household items
- Free information and referral services
- Free income tax preparation for low income seniors
- Assistance with will preparation
- Weekly radio programming, bi-monthly newsletter and other publications
- Advocacy and support
- Free video and book lending library
- Special Projects
